Call the Wind - Wax Melts

I'm not wild on tonka, but I tried this because I have so often been surprised by liking a Frostbeard scent that I thought I wouldn't like. It's ooo-kay for me, and has confirmed that I am not a great fan of tonka. But I will say that it's an unusual scent, kind of soft and comforting, and the 4 oz does fill a room with a subtle scent. I'll cheerfully burn it but will stick with non-tonka scents in future.

no specific scent, just sweet, soft and pleasant. Worried it might be soapy when opening the package, but didn’t notice while burning.

As a fan of the King Killer Chronicles, and still waiting on the 3rd installment, this scent smells fresh and autumnal. Perfect for fall.

I'm not sure what I was expecting, but this seemed light and powdery to me. Not unpleasant, just not sure it's my cup of tea.

All of Frostbeard's candles are so wonderful but there are definitely some scents that stand out and this is one of them! Wow! So happy I decided to try this one!

It really is like Autumn in a jar. It starts off almost a little perfumeish but after it gets a good flame going it turns into a soothing, relaxing aroma.

Wonderfully fresh and crisp scent with an excellent throw that's strong but not overpowering. Smells both sweet and slightly earthy, which is exactly what I was looking for in a candle for the autumn season.

This candle smells like fall in a jar. Reminds me of being at university when all the trees would start to turn colours and you could smell the crisp autumn breeze. Refreshing, slightly sweet and absolutely perfect!

A wonderful fresh and clean scent

Hints of apple and wood - very fresh and crisp, like a cool Autumn morning. A subtle scent; not overpowering. I will definitely be buying more of this one.

I got this candle as parr of the subscription and was skeptical. Apple scents are either too overpowering or smell too strongly of cinnamon instead. But I love this scent. The only word that comes to mind is soft and I love it.

I received this from the candle of the month club, and at first sniff I couldn't stand it. Lit it up and eventually it grew on me and I actually really love this as a transitional into fall candle. Missed ordering another one, and hope to see it available again soon!

I love apple scent but it's always backed by too much sweet or spicy to make it "fall like" but this one is apple & earthy. Really great to have a light apple scent as evenings get cooler again.

I love that you can smell the apple without it being overpowering. It's one of my favorite new scents in a good long while! I hope they bring it back because I would buy it every year!

Smells great and a wonderful smell to transition from summer to fall! Has a nice warm apple smell with the vanilla, but has a freshness!

I can't quite put into words what it is about this scent that makes it so great but the apple certainly is a big part of it. My only complaint is I wish it was a little stronger as this one is definitely on the faint side.

I love this! Too many apple candles smell sweet (apple pie, baked apple, etc.), but this smells like a fall day at the orchard: just like fresh air and apples. One of my new favorites!

This scent has grown on me. I like to burn it in the evenings.

This candle smells like early fall . . .like fresh apples off the tree, like back to school. After burning this candle once, I went ahead and ordered an extra one, as I'm fairly certain I will be burning this one quite frequently.

This candle is officially a new favorite!! I got it because The Name of The Wind is one of my favorite books, and I think this candle really does a great job at capturing some of the scents of this book! It is delightful and a perfect fall scent, highly recommend!

I was so excited to try this one since it was inspired by the KKC. I wasn't 100% sold on this one when I smelled it cold, but it's really lovely while burning and it got compliments from a friend who was visiting. You can definitely smell the apple but the woods prevent it from being obviously an apple candle. It's blended really nicely, almost like a perfume!

This one wasn’t a favorite. It wasn’t bad, I’ll still burn it, but it was too sweet smelling for me.

This is like the perfect intro the Fall. You can really smell the apple, with a little caramel almost. It’s lovely. Highly recommend.

I told myself I wouldn’t give another 5-star review, but holy moly…the blend of fresh and warm in this scent embodies the transition from summer to autumn. This makes me crave cider and cozy sweaters.

Different yet familiar - smells like apples but not in a sweet, synthetic, or one-note way. Good strength, noticeable but not overbearing. Beautiful color. When a friend came to visit he immediately said "your apartment smells AMAZING!"
