Aurora Dust - 8 oz Jar

This is one of the best candles I've ever smelled. The marzipan is sweet and smooth, and the incense adds a bit of a smoky depth to it. I got this in one of the candle and bookish goods boxes, and I REALLY hope they bring it back!

If you miss your local renaissance faire, this is the candle for you. The color is BEAUTIFUL. I bought one for my best friend.

Mostly pick up the champa scent and the hint of amber and almond is hard to pick up to me but it adds something and makes it more unique then just a normal champa scent.

This candle smells exactly like an incense (no idea which one) I used to burn as a teenager. It really takes me back. Totally hits the nostalgia on the nose.

On cold sniff the candle is exactly what I like since it's seems to be a mix of earthy sweetness but the scent is so mild that I don't smell anything when it's lit.

I was never quite sure what my amortentia (from HP) would smell like, and then my Northern Expedition Lit Box arrived. Aurora Dust is the best, most comforting thing I've ever smelled, and it's so depressing that buying another Lit Box is (currently) the only way to purchase more of these candles. If this scent ever comes back, I'm going to buy enough to last until I'm dead.

I didn't even want to burn my candle because it smells so good even before being burnt! It's the perfect blend of fragrances. My only regret is that I didn't get more than one.

This might be my favorite scent I've tried from Frostbeard (although Winter Keep gives it a serious run for its money). It smells sweet and deep and smokey in the best possible way (especially when lit). While I'm loving it now in the summertime, I know it will be even better in the fall and winter months! I definitely get the almond, even though it is definitely the least prominent out of the three. Not to mention that the purple ombre color is absolutely stunning. I got this candle through one of the lit boxes, and I'm so glad I did. Bring it back, Frostbeard!!

I got this candle from a friend when I swapped her my Sassenach candle (gave me headaches) for this one (didn’t appeal to her). It’s funny how individual we all are about scents we like, because I LOVE this scent and she loves the other. Aurora Dust might be my current favorite, I find it so relaxing and dreamy, not to mention pretty. Love this candle!

I loved this one so much I came back and ordered extras! The color is absolutely gorgeous, and the smell is just perfection! It’s a perfect combination of almond and nag champa. It’s similar to Dragon’s Lair but with the added sweetness of almond. It’s simultaneously relaxing and inspiring. Definitely one of my all-time favorites!

I couldn't resist this gorgeous periwinkle candle with purple swirls. I wanted to love the scent also. While I could smell the amber and almond, and they combine together very well with the incense, the incense scent was just too strong for me. I gave it to a friend who is also a Frostbeard Studios fan and customer and she loved it. She is giving me a candle she ordered that isn't her favorite in exchange. I've been buying candles from Frostbeard for a couple of years and this is the first one that didn't work for me. I hope another scent will come in purple soon!

This has such a soothing, dreamy smell. Very calming to curl up and read a book with. I originally got it with the January Lit box, but then I got another to gift to a friend so she too could get hooked on the amazing Frostbeard scents!

Very nice scent. Very relaxing and calming. Light and airy. Great for use when taking a nice long hot bath. Beautiful color. I enjoyed it quite a bit.

I recieved this candle in the January lit box. First of all, it's a very pretty color, reminiscent of the Aurora light with purples and blues swirling around. The incense smell is what I smelled first, so it reminded me if Divination Classroom (another one of my favorites). I caught the amber smell occasionally, but it wasn't too strong. The almond gave the incense a more earthy smell. I would say this is moderately strong, as it can fill an entire kitchen and loving room easily. If you are debating and this candle is available, don't wait, buy it!

Divination Classroom is our favorite and we go through about a dozen a year. Aurora Dust was a wonderful change of pace! It has a similar incense scent as Divination Classroom, but the added almond and amber give it a lighter, fresher aroma. Divine! And the color is breathtakingly beautiful. Please bring this one back!

Smells really nice

Definitely the most beautiful candle visually I've ever gotten from Frostbeard. I also loved the scent. The incense is right up my alley. Would purchase this again in a heartbeat if they brought it back.

When I first got the candle I pretty much only smelled the incense, but once it started burning I really got the almond underneath and it creates a lovely scent throughout the room! Such a pretty color too!

First of all, I love the color with different shades of purple and lavender. Then comes the scent. A hint of almond and well-blended aromas of incense and amber, which doesn't make it too much of a powerful smell. One of my favorites so far.

The incense is the strongest of the three scents, but I can definitely smell the amber and almond as well. It's also a really gorgeous purple swirl, so it's nice to look at as well. I wish it was always available!

It was love at first sniff. The aroma is so intoxicating and sexy.

The second candle I got seemed to be from a different batch, since the incense was more pronounced in that one than in the first one I bought (where the amber was more forward). Still, the colors are beautiful and the scent is exotic. Bring this back, please!

First burning I wasn't sure but the second time you had me. Another winner, Frostbeard. Not quite sure how you keep doing it but please don't stop. Loving my new candles.

This is my husband's favorite from Frostbeard and I was excited to see it back in stock. A sweet, incense with a little something extra. To my nose, this has a great throw and is one of the more different offerings. Give it a try and I doubt you will be disappointed.

Romantic, slightly heady scent that doesn't smell like a psychic opium den.
