Little Briar-Rose - 8 oz Jar

I’m an loyal frost beard customer and this one is my favourite, hands down! Perfect balance of rose and cedar. I hope this one joins the permanent collection!

This candle glows beautifully and gives off the perfect earthy rose without being sweet. Not a candle I would generally be attracted to but I’m enjoying immensely. Gives off a medium strong scent and fills the room nicely.

It smelled too much like roses and very little cedar. Not my favorite.

I'm not usually once for floral smells, but the vetiver and cedar made me want to give this a try and I was not disappointed! They really helped to balance out the rose and it makes a good, light but earthy smell.

This smells amazing and I am so excited to burn it next!

This scent has a really beautiful balance. The rose isn't too overwhelming, everything is just right.

This rose scent has that sweet, clean factor that I appreciate. Not the cloying florals I try to avoid. Would buy again.

Pretty feminine scent

Perfect warm and sweet candle as springtime approaches. The vetiver really makes this candle. I hope it is brought back one day!

I keep this candle, unlit, for months so that it would scent my accessories drawer and all my scarves would smell of roses. Unlit, the rose is dominant, but when lit, the candle becomes surprisingly warm and woodsy. The cedar comes through more strongly, and the vetiver, which I can’t really smell at all unlit, is prominent. It’s a nice surprise. Very warming, almost a muskier version of a powder room scent. Possibly too strong for my absolutely tiny study, but might be nice for a larger bedroom. Would be ideal in a spa.

The scent was O.K. It was very, very rosy; I could barely smell the other two scents. Perhaps they only served to prevent the rose from being too cloying.

At first I thought the candle might have an earthier scent, but this is a really nice light floral. Definitely not too sweet!

This one has a very real light rose scent. No fake perfume smells here. Takes awhile to fill a room though. Gentle and nice.

Before I placed an order, my boyfriend told me he likes light floral scents. I'm not a floral person, but I am well versed in the healing properties of essential oils. For this reason, I was drawn to this combination of rose, vetiver, and cedar. So, I decided to try 2oz. Thought the combination might just be the perfect heart opener. It's nice. We both like it. Not too overpowering. Subtle.

This candle may be listed as a strong scent, but thankfully the rose note stays soft and the musk is not overpowering. I was worried this candle might remind me of that powerful rose potpourri scent but it doesn't and instead is quite a pleasant floral scent for spring.

I'm rarely disappointed by a Frostbeard candle, but this one, to me, has barely any scent or any throw. If I sniff it right out of the jar, there's a kind of frowsy-floral scent that seems pleasant enough if fairly generic. However, lit or unlit, I don't smell it at all even sitting right next to it. Sad face.

This reminds me of the rose playdoh kit from my childhood. It smells excellent and I hope they add it to permanent rotation.

A very feminine, floral scent.

I love rose-scented anything, and this candle does it for me! The rose note is there, but well balanced with some earthiness of the others. Very lovely!

This was a gift, but I got to take a whiff first. I am not usually a rose-scent fan, but this is very light rose. Receiver loved it!

The rose is there, but it's not overpowering. It's a nice floral for people who don't really like a lot of floral. Earthy and fresh. I like it a lot more than I expected.

this is my fourth time buying frostbeard ( probably gonna put in another order in a few days) and every time I'm always so pleased but for this time, I just didn't like this scent, it didn't smell that great to me which made me so sad. absolutely love this company though and I'll keep buying because it's so wonderful.

I typically don't like floral scents, but took a chance on this one and I do enjoy it. I have only purchased the tins, so there hasn't been as much throw as might be with the larger jar. It is not an overpowering or ":fake" rose scent. Instead the other notes blend quite well to produce a light spring scent.

Floral candles aren't my go-to but I was intrigued by the notes of cedar and vetiver. Result is definitely rose-centric, but mitigated by gentle green/wood notes that bring it a bit down to earth and or elevate it to fresh air, rather than perfumey overwhelm.. Relaxing scent

This smells exactly what I was hoping/expecting it would. Wonderfully earthy with the perfect amount of rose. If I were a millionaire I’d stockpile a whole closet of these.

This is a very floral scent so if you like that you'll like this! I'm not a huge fan of floral scents myself, but I wanted to give this a try hoping that if it was a lighter scent I would like it. However, this is a very strong scent, which is why it's labeled strong. I burned this is a large open basement and it filled the space within an hour. So if you like florals go for this, you don't need to burn it much to get a good scent!

Frostbeard is probably the only candle company that I take risks on. I can be sensitive with some scents, and they can give me nausea or headaches.
This is not the case with little briar rose. I feel it hit the perfect note and gave a pleasant rose scent to a medium-large room without making me gag. It was nice, as I do like rose scent but don't want to drown in it. So bravo because this reminds me of rose scent drifting in through a summer window. Not too strong, just right.

Before buying, I was a little nervous that the cedar and vetiver would overpower the rose, but quite the opposite! This candle has a delicate rose scent that is just enough to disperse throughout the room, but not too perfume-y or overpowering. Overall, it's definitely been one of my favorite purchases from Frostbeard so far!

A bit romantic, a bit florally-fresh, this candle is perfect for the transition from winter to spring. It burns well and fills the house with its delightful scent.

Such a cute name and idea for a candle, makes my sad little dorm room feel like a fairy tale. :)
