Vacation Reads - 8 oz Jar

I love how unique these scents are! I feel like I'm walking into a minty garden when I burn this candle. So fresh smelling!

I love to light this candle when I’m reading and have my ceiling fan going. The tropical lime fragrance is carried on the breeze the fan creates and if I close my eyes I’m on a beach with a margarita in my hand. The mint adds a complexity to the aroma and makes it extra special. Take a chance on this one! Very summery!

It's been a few years since I've lit a Frostbeard Studios candle and this candle reminded me just how much I love them! The scent of this candle is like a tropical punch in the face - in a good way! It smells very strongly of lime and mint (not unlike a mojito), but the note of Plumeria sneaks in to give it a bit of layered sweetness. Overall, I find it to be a very unique, bold and complex scent.

Additionally, I wanted to give a shout out to Roxie. After my initial Vacation Reads candle was broken during delivery, she sent out a replacement candle for me - making sure to send it in a bigger box with extra stuffing to avoid another package of shattered glass. It's thanks to her that I was able to light up my vacation in a jar!

This smells amazing and I could pick out all three elements, which is nice because plumeria is such an evocative tropical scent. Wish this was a lotion or body wash!

This scent is so lime-y and wonderful that it’s one of my new favorites.

This has an overall tropical vibe, like if tropical skittles were a candle. Could only be improved by including an all expenses paid trip to an island so I can read in peace.

They have not responded. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. UNACCEPTABLE!

This is fresh and fun tropical summer scent. It's a nice blend that's not overly heavy or sweet and gives off a bright clean vibe.

The plumeria is very strong in this candle.

Wanted to like this scent more than I did. I found the floral plumeria notes to be too strong in comparison to the lime and mint. It has a decent throw, but do wish it had been a bit stronger. Probably won't purchase again.

I have supported Frostbeard for years but I will not be buying from them anymore. I placed an order for Vacation Reads (and other candles) in July but never received my order. My credit card was charged and despite multiple attempts to request a refund, Frostbeard has never given me my money back or given me tracking information for my order. I did eventually hear back from customer service sometime in September, where they said there had been some issues with USPS - I was told the issues were addressed and was given an apology, as well as a promise that they would send my original order. It has been over a month since I was told they would "push this through ASAP!" and I still haven't received the candles from my July order. I have sent multiple emails since that initial response in September, requesting tracking information or a status update, and have not gotten a response. At this point I would just like a refund for my order that I never received, but so far my requests for a refund have also been ignored.

very floral and pleasant with a hint of lime. I don't perceive any mint. I wouldn't mind the lime and mint to be more powerful and the plumeria dialed down (or perhaps removed all together).

Maybe it's the Plumeria but the overall finish is a bit sweeter than I thought it would be. It's not overpowering but I wish the lime & mint came through a bit more. Still great in my living room as a last push of summer scent before I start fall decorating.

I struggle to burn candles in the summer but this one is nice and refreshing!

This is the type of candle you light when you want to pretend you're at the beach with plenty of sun and a good book! Wonderful combination of scents and very beachy.

I've really enjoyed this one! It has a delightful floral undertone that isn't overpowering. The mint is a little too strong for my tastes, so I only burn it a little while at the time. A great addition to my scent collection.

The first whif I took it smelled like a fresh drink with mint, followed by lime and plumeria. It is light, lovely and not too strong, perfect for summer reading.

Summer, beach, Pina Colada, and a good beach read! That is this candle.. To me, the lime is strongest, but all is blended well.

Vacation Reads smells well balanced, fresh, and unexpected, but the scent wasn't personally appealing to me - I generally lean more toward cozy scents and this one is more...perky? I'd say the lime is the strongest element.

Wow. Defintely a summer vacation scent. Predominantly lime, but with hints of the other scents too. I burned this one all week before our vacay. It's like being on a tropical island.

I got this one with my subscription and am completely delighted. I had worried plumeria would dominate the scent, but it’s actually extremely well balanced between the floral from plumeria, the fresh lime, and herbal mint. It’s like they’ve jarred mojitos on a sunny patio and I’m here for it.

I wasn’t sure that I would like this candle as I am not usually a fan of mint. I was very surprised that I really like it. The mint isn’t overpowering and the lime and floral really come through. It feels like summer when I burn it. Perfect light scent
