Castle Fire Demon - Wax Melts

I gave this candle to my sister-in-law (a big fan of Howl's Moving Castle), and she loves it.

This candle is a beautiful shade of blue and the smell is bold and strong as advertised. It smells spicy and the cinnamon adds a touch of warmth. It's perfect, I love it. I feel as tough I'm in a warm winter cabin, in front of a fire with a cup of hot chocolate in one hand and a book in the other. Comforting and invigorating.

The smell makes me think of stove top incense my mom used to make. The cinnamon gives it a sort of warmth soI definitely think it’s more of a colder weather smell, but I like it so much I would burn it anytime.

I bought this scent, Fireplace Reads, and Mountain Lodge Madness for winter burning and this is by far the best of the three for me (and I really like the other two). The clove smell comes through nicely and the embers prevent the overall scent from being too sweet, too much like baked goods. It's a strong scent: gently fills my whole room. I've already written myself a reminder to buy two of these next winter.

Love this scent. I only got the small tin, so the scent throw is very minimum. May have to get a larger candle.

Even though this is Fire Demon, I keep thinking of Dragons. Lol! The scent takes me to a land of castles and wonderful creatures. I find the scent smells even better as it sits in the room - like an afterthought in the best possible way! I will keep this one on my reorder list.

There’s a flavor of ice cream I sometimes buy called blue moon. It’s blue and I’ve never been able to figure out what exactly its flavor is. This candle is the color of and smells just like the ice cream tastes! It’s the weirdest and loveliest coincidence and I love it.

I ADORE this scent. Its spicy and warm. I live with my parents currently and they love it as well, which usually is a hard-fought battle. 🙃 Please never get rid of this scent!

Castle Fire Demon is the one of the best candles out there in my opinion. Every time I smell the scent, I am transported to a far off mountain staring to the mouth of a huge cavern. I see a orange glow emanating from within the darkness. As I stare, I hear a huge roar and a huge gust of wind rushes towards me from the mouth. This candle scent is what I imagine I would smell.

Definitely a spicier scent. I have to be in the right mood for it, but when I want that, it definitely scratches the itch.

I hope this one sticks around, because it’s everything I could want in a scent. The warm cinnamon and cloves are toasty but so spa-like. It’s a soothing candle I’d burn year-round.

When it’s burning, it reminds me of those little cinnamon, fire-hot candies I ate as a kid, which is very nostalgic for me. I like to burn it in the kitchen. It just seems like a kitchen candle to me.

Love these candles! The fragrance is light and exactly as described. I take these when I travel to make my hotel room more cozy.

This candle is subtle. Lighting it and letting it burn for a while, it gives reading on a cold day.

I really enjoy this scent. The clove and cinnamon are delightfully spicy.

This smells fabulous prior to being lit, the clove being the heaviest scent unlit, but it doesn’t have enough carry in my living room, and that was disappointing, because I was excited about this one. The notes of cinnamon and fireplace are really lovely and this one. I just wish it was a little stronger.

I haven't actually lit the candle because I'm saving it for a specific occasion. I sniff it regularly though and I love it. There hasn't been a single purchase of a candle here that I have been disappointed by.

Honestly I do prefer a slightly more robust scent in my candies so I might not return for this. But... the scent itself is fantastic. When it is noticed it is appreciated. I just wish it was noticed a little more frequently is all. (I ordered this along with Christmas in the Burrows which was more at my wanted level of scent presentation. If I had gotten this without the comparison... i might not have noticed.)

This was a first-time buy for me, simply because I found the notes very appealing. It smells wonderful and spicy without being sweet. I haven't burned it yet but will be burning here before the cold weather breaks. 4 stars right now because it smells mild to my nose (cold smelling) and I cannot comment yet on the throw. Bought 2 of them and very glad I did!
