Cozy Murder Mystery - 8 oz Jar

I wasn't sure how I'd feel about this one, as I'm not usually a fan of the smell of alcohol, but I love purple, so I knew I had to try it! I was pleasantly surprised by the mix of scents! You can definitely smell the apple, which I love! And the rest is a sort of wood fire, musky scent, but nothing over powering!

I originally received Cozy Murder Mystery as a Mystery Tin in my first order. I fell in love with the scent but was heartbroken when I learned it was no longer available for purchase. Immediately put myself on the list to be notified when it was back in stock.

Cozy Murder Mystery is one of those scents that is hard to get tired of. It's not overpowering, but is a gentle scent that leaves one with a sense of comfort. I've found that the scent lingers in the air long after I've put the candle out.

This is one of my favorites to date. It’s currently in my warmer now! It’s the perfect cozy scent!

This is my absolute favorite scent! I love all of Frostbeard's wax melts but this one just encapsulates the sense of autumn for me.

A little cloying but nice. The whiskey becomes more prominent with each burning so I would prefer the apple to be more to the fore

I love all of frostbeard's scents with Whiskey and this is no exception. The Whiskey definitely comes through with just the right amount of sweetness so it's not overly boozy. Great throw with the wax melts.

I should've known to stock pile this one, I'd forgotten how much I love the scent. Cozy, intoxicating scent.

I was super excited about this candle because of the scent notes and the color. Neither disappoints. It's amazing. 12/10, hope to get it again soon (it might be in my cart now)?

This is in constant rotation at my home. Smells boozy and comforting and delicious, all at the same time. Will always stock up when this candle is available (hint, hint, Frostbeard).

This sent is my new favorite. I like sweet smells, and this was just perfect.

It's such a cozy scent! Like curling up with a good book after a nice bubble bath, with fresh cut flowers on the table. Vibes.

This is a very cozy scent. It smells like apples and makes you want to curl up under a blanket!

The apple whiskey scent is present but doesn’t wallop you like some of the other Frostbeard scents with whiskey.

This is divine and cosy-perfect to set the mood for a chilling book or scary movie.

I don't know if it's the whiskey or what, but this candle is a little too sweet and oddly musty, like a shut up home full of dust and dirt. It's not great. It's tolerable (?) I guess, but who wants to spend $22 on a candle that is tolerable at best, that you're basically just hoping will run out soon? :(

Definitely smell the whiskey in this one though I wouldn't call it a fruity smell. I don't catch the wool overtones very strongly but all in all a pleasant scent while burning.

Nice scent, not one of my favorites, but that's just because I'm not a huge fan of the whisky smell.

When I light this one I can hear the opening bars of the Murder She Wrote theme song calling to me. A very cozy smell and packs a punch even in a 4oz tin. A good candle to light while pondering, “What would Jessica Fletcher do?”

Predominantly fruity and slightly floral, more apple whisky than a wool blanket. I don't get any wool at all (which I associate with lanolin). I mix this one (wax melt) with a few others. By itself, I find it a little cloying.

I'm not sure I could have identified what this smelled like if I hadn't been the one to choose it, but it's undoubtably nice! A bit sweet but not sickly at all.

I was a little unsure but admittedly went for the purchase because of the name more than anything... I love a good cozy mystery! But I was very very pleasantly surprised when I lit the candle - it's cozy with sharp notes of the whiskey, in a very fall-ish fashion. It's hard to describe, but I think it goes just right with my hallmark mystery movies :P

Of all the items in my order, this one seemed the biggest leap. The though of whiskey in a candle seemed odd but somehow this works. It really does put you in the mood to read/watch a good mystery, with a cup of tea of course. There is a sweetness to it that some may find cloying, but others might appreciate. Glad I tried it!

This is more a fruity sweet scent than whisky. I get a slightly Oxford Library musk smell to it. It's a mild scent with decent throw.

A "rounder" sweet apple scent -- not a food smell like a crisp fresh apple or a super-sweet apple pie -- that works in any room. Love the color!

Feels like putting on an old cardigan and cuddling up with a well worn Agatha Christie novel, a cup of cider in hand. And then when you finish the book and you just can’t believe it even though you’ve read it several times before, so you find the movie version and pour yourself a glass of whiskey like you’re the detective on the job? It feels like that part too.
Strong, but not overpowering, sweet but not nauseatingly so. A very refreshing fall candle.

I feel like I am wrapped up in a blanket sipping some cider when I smell this. Please keep this scent around. Looking forward to getting it again in the future. Wish I got the bigger scent.

This scent is a dream. Cozy, just slightly sweet, and oh so unique.

I absolutely love the scent of these wax melts. The fragrance is strong (in a good way) and it fills the room quickly. I want my house to smell like this all year long. It's a warm, cozy, yet sophisticated fragrance. It's not your typical "apple spice" scent. I hope that it returns next fall because I'm going to buy a bunch and stock-up!

I wanna smell this while reading or watching a murder mystery and drinking apple whiskey. Or in short: awesome product
