Mountain Lodge Madness - 8 oz Jar

I wasn’t sure that I liked this candle, at first. But then, all of a sudden, it brought to mind a trip I had taken to the Jack Daniels Distillery and that point in the tour where they have you smell the mash that has been in the barrel! THAT is the smell and it is delicious! I simply was not expecting it in a candle! I did have to let this one burn longer before the fragrance filled the room, but that was no problem since it was accompanying my Wingspan game! This is a very unique and pleasing fragrance in a candle.

Love the Stephen King Vibe this one gives.

I love this scent. The whiskey comes through really nicely, adding sweetness to the smokiness without being overpowering. The paper smell lends a freshness to the whole thing. It's a complex and very satisfying winter scent. Wish I'd bought two of them!

It's a good idea, but you won't smell it unless you're close enough to burn yourself.

This one has some floral notes and even though I like it there are others I like more.....

I like this one. As others have said it can be a little sweet smelling, so I only burn it for so long. It has a nice throw and fills a room without being overwhelming.

This scent is amazing. My partner isn't a big accented candle fan but he's in love with this one. Burn it in a small room so it fills the space and it'll transport you!

The unique combination of scents caught my eye, so I decided to give this candle a try. So glad I did. It's perfect for colder months, when you want to imagine that you're curled up next to a fire. The addition of the whiskey and paper scents added some sweetness. I just wish the throw was a bit stronger.

The smoke and timber comes through, with a bit of sweetness. Just wish the scent were stronger. I have the smallest candle and can only really smell it when sitting right next to it.

This scent is a little sweet, possibly from the whiskey and/or paper, and could possibly use a bit more of the smoke and timber. Still great as it is, though I'd probably plan to burn this next time in a cooler month than April - seems to fit better in winter proper.

It's a little sweeter than I anticipated but in my opinion that's a good thing! I was expecting a very heavy scent with the whiskey, smoke and timber notes but Im guessing the sweetness is coming from the "paper" scent and I think it helps balance out the candle.

I am not really sure yet if I like this one. Mixed opinion for the moment. But it smells better lit than when your open the candle first.

Tbh I don’t think I like the frost beard paper smell. It’s extremely dominant, sweet and smells strongly of vanilla. You get hints of whisky, but timber and smoke are non existent. Not one of my favorites.

I really like the paper element in this one, it sets it apart from the other woodsy/smokey candles(that are also wonderful).

I love any candle with woodsmoke as a base. Mountain Lodge Madness is light on the smoke with a more subtle mix of timber, smoke, paper and whiskey. The combination relaxes me and makes me want to just pick up a good book and chill.

The only thing I can smell on this candle is very strong vanilla. Probably supposed to be the paper. I did not smell any timber, smoke, or whiskey. So if you like vanilla, you will like this candle. That's about it.

I wasn't sure about the whiskey part of the scent but it really adds something. This is a great relaxing scent and it's perfect to unwind to after a long day at work.

Surprising given its inspiration, but this candle is warm, inviting, and extremely soothing. I can smell all the scent notes, but actually, what it most strongly resembles for me (and this is a HUGE plus) is a rich, vanilla rooibos tea. The overall scent is a gentle, sweet earthiness that's both fresh and cozy. I've stocked up, hoping this scent sticks around a long time. Who knew "The Shining" candle could cast a relaxing atmosphere!

I adore this candle . . .it has all my favorite elements--smoke, whiskey, paper. They blend together so nicely and lighting this candle really does conjure mental images of writing in a cozy cabin by the fireplace with a stiff drink while the snow falls outside.

I like this scent.. I think it hits all the notes just right and it puts off a decent throw while burning. This one was a winner.. Thanks!
