I really like this scent because you have achieved a great mixture of floral that is not "overly sweet." I hope that I can order more!

Love that they're soy candles, even melting, and i love the choices of scents.

This smelled so strongly of baby powder I can't bear it. There might have been some vanilla underneath but it was just gross.

I was worried that this scent was labeled med/strong but I found it to be nicely neutral. Not a problem burning in my living room.

a light sweet scent that I gave to my mother for Christmas. she is really sensitive to smell headaches and this candle is strong enough to get the scent but not strong enough to give headaches.

Love this candle, both the scent and the name/theme. Bought one for myself and several others for some gifts - works extra well as a wedding/engagement gift. Smells delicious and definitely leaves me wanting to eat cake - lol. Gives me those romantic dessert feels!

I purchased this as a wedding gift for my sister. It was a perfect gift and she absolutely loves the scent. It is a little sweet for me but, she likes floral sweet scents.

Opening the jar is like walking into a bakery - there is an overpowering scent of vanilla buttercream. Perfect for tea time or anyone who fancies themselves a bit of a princess bride

This candle is a combination of sweet and floral, and wasn't quite my style. However, I'm sure those who go for the more floral scents will adore it.

Sweet buttercream is the primary aroma of this candle. I tend to like confectionery sense, but a little does go a long way. Not an everyday candle, but one to light if you want a dessert without the calories

I can't say enough good things about him his candle! It's the first candle I bought from FrostBeard, it's The Princess Bride related and smells so great! I wuv it!

I agree with the other reviewer- this is much less like cake and buttercup and more like baby powder. It isn't too strong or offensive so I don't mind it terribly, just definitely not what I expected, nor one of my faves.

I was a bit hesitate at first to buy a candle whose scent I could not entirely relate to (what does a wedding cake smells like??), but now that I've burned it and experienced its smell, I have no regret at all! It just smells so yummy, and it has a very good throw in my room, which was not always the case with the other Frostbeard candles I got.

The scent is light and definitely reminds me of (a wedding) cake. I'm sure it will smell great when lit. 4 stars for now.

It smells more like baby's breath than buttercup, but its a lovely candle a lovely scent and burns beautifully!

This candle smells wonderful - much more subtle than I was thinking it would be. I only took one star because I don't know how it burns - it's going to be part of a wedding gift for some friends.

first of all, I love this company and your other candles so this review does not reflect my overall feelings, just how I feel about this scent. I was very excited for these tarts to come in and expected it to smell like warm vanilla or a cake baking in the oven. It really just smells like baby powder so I don't even use it my warmer anymore.

This is one I feel my favorite Frostbeard scents of all time! The cake scent is sweet, and the buttercup scent gives the whole thing a complexity that goes beyond your run-of-the-mill vanilla-scented candle. I have bought Twue Wuv in both candle and melt form, and both are great. Oh, and I find it's one of the stronger scent throws from Frostbeard products, which I appreciate. It fragrances my whole living room nicely without being overpowering. I wish they had this scent available all the time.

I'm definitely feeling some Twue Wuv for this candle! Not only is the scent delicious, but I love any Princess Bride candle (I also have Cliffs of Insanity, which is great as well)! I got this as a little Valentine's Day present for hubby -- we'll see if he likes it as much as I do!
